A wonderful 37 minute long compositional piece created by the one and only Lars Horntveth. The Norwegian master mind behind such acts as Jaga Jazzist and The National Bank. As a distinguished figure in the jazz, pop, and electronic genres, composing for full orchestra seemed only a step away for Lars. Featuring 41 members of the Latvian National Orchestra, Kaleidoscopic is a very cinematic affair. The majority of Horntveth's backing is in the feild of jazz so this is very prevalent in the work. But none the less a very beautiful and moving journey.
