Alex, Anthony (Slam-Jam Tony), and Brett are by far some of the nicest guys to play music with in town. We have had a blast playing so many shows with them. They recently self released "Real Life Sucks" on cassette tape and have it for free download on their .bandcamp page. They start the tape with Ruthless, a song that they often start live sets with. It really sets the tone for what kind of pop punk breed these guys are. Chase Ambler is fast, fun, loud, gritty, and real. The tape is short with just three songs to follow but it doesn't let up. It's consistant and each song allows room for all three guys to show their contributions to the band. Anthony is singing like there is no tomorrow, Brett is playing the drums like a mad man (especially in Going Nowhere) and Alex kills it at the end of the tape with some Big Kids influenced shredding. Chase Ambler makes being wimpy cool.
Be sure to get their tape at the Blast-O show on August 8th. Signals Midwest is coming in from Cleveland. Chase Ambler, Sleeping Weather, Disaster Canyon, and Black Dots are playing. Your friends will be there. It will be a good time.
