Time to rock the fuck out. Creating a blend of multiple genres seems to be a trend in the current metal scene and this (for the most part) grindcore band is no different. Traditionally War transitions between hardcore, grindcore, and the occasional random jazzy number. This, their newer album is a bit more advanced and grown up compared to their previous effort Transmetropolitan. Their ADD driven songs bring to mind Converge's tendency to go off on random rock-out rants before tossing it all in a blender and watching the chaotic mixture blurt out. This album drives forward with reckless abandon, I think we'll be seeing more from them very soon. I really suggest listening to their first though, as after hearing this album Transmetropolitan will sound like a let down.
